European thermal prices made a firm start to Thursday’s session, with an October cargo trading via Braemar Atlantic.

The 50,000 t cargo traded at $126.00/t DES Amsterdam-Rotterdam (AR) for 50,000 t of Australian, Colombian, Polish, South African, and United States (US) material with EFP terms. The floating price leg of the deal was fixed at $125.00/t, up from yesterday’s close of $121.70/t.

Yesterday, a cargo for October delivery traded at $120.25/t DES AR, also for 50,000 t Australian, Colombian, Polish, South African, or US material with EFP terms.

November was bid at $124.00/t DES AR for the same with no offer reported. In the previous session, a 50,000 t cargo for November delivery traded at $118.00/t DES AR for the same terms and origins
